Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of iDevices and soon will expand employee base with another 20.000 people who will build the new iPhone terminal that Apple is going to launch this fall. The new employees of the company will work in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi province, those from Foxconn planning to transform the location into one of the largest producers of electronic devices. For the time being, the company's employees are on strike at the factory in Taiyuan because the management members promised them that they would raise their salaries before starting the assembly of the new iPhone, but they only partially kept their word.

Foxconn in Tai Yuan is now building a new base for iPhone 5 production. The company is now in need of approximately 20,000 workers. Mr. Yu, an insider at Tai Yuan Foxconn, says that the company still has tons of openings, especially front-line workers. "As long as they meet the basic standards, (we'll) take as many as possible." Given Apple's prominent position in the industry, Foxconn has made iPhone production its foremost priority in mainland China. Mr. Yu says that Foxconn gets about 85% of the total order of iPhone 5, which translates into about 57 million units per year.

An employee of that factory would earn between $345 - $550 per month if overtime is included, but those there want more, but Foxconn would not be prepared to offer them such a thing. Whatever the situation may be, Foxconn will solve the problem, hire a very large number of people and the new iPhone will be produced under the same conditions as before.
