In May, Ashton Kutcher will start shooting for the movie "Jobs: Get Inspired"

A few weeks ago I told you that Ashton Kutcher will play Steve Jobs in a biographical film suggestively named "Jobs: Get Inspired". Filming for the film will begin in May, with Kutcher apparently giving up all his other projects to take on the role of the famous Apple CEO, but the film could prove to be quite disappointing for some. Unfortunately the movie will cover almost three decades of Steve Jobs' life, from 1971 to 2000, but we will not see details related to the launch of the products that helped Apple become the most valuable company in the US: the iPhone smartphone and the iPad tablet.

Our movie primarily focuses on the early years of Apple, its founding and the up and down years: 1971 – 2000. There are a number of key players in the story: Steve Wozniak, John Scully, Mike Markkula, Daniel Kottke. We are in discussion with some exciting actors for those roles but we're not at liberty to announce other actors yet. We will film primarily in Los Angeles. No, we are not connected with Apple in any way. It will be released in the 4th quarter of this year.

The producers of the film claim: that Apple did not get involved in supporting the project, that most of the filming will take place in Los Angeles and that the release will take place at the end of this year. "Jobs: Get Inspired" is a film produced separately from that of Sony, which acquired from Walter Isaacson, the author of the authorized biography of Steve Jobs, the rights to make a film that would be released this year. Nothing is known about that film for now, but it will be interesting to see how the two films will look and which one will have the best actors and will better present the story of one of the most beloved company presidents in history.
