Just a few days later iOS release 5.1.1 for iDevices, Apple is now releasing iOS 5.0.1 for the little Apple TV. The new version of the operating system works on all Apple TV models now available on the market and does not bring important news for their owners. The update focuses mainly on solving some operating system bugs and implementing HD previews, so you won't find much new, but the update must be done.

- AirPlay – Fixes an issue that caused some iOS apps to have trouble connecting via AirPlay.

- Stability and performance – Includes fixes for issues affecting stability and performance.
You can do the update directly from Apple TV, from the Update Software menu, but you must be connected to the Internet.
