Last night the famous French hacker Pod2G told us that he managed to jailbreak the iPad 3 tablet on iOS 5.1 and that he is going to check if his untethered jailbreak solution also works with the new iOS 5.1.1. Until he got there, he made a video clip in which he demonstrates that his untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1 really works on the iPad 3 tablet, and in the video clip above you can see the demonstration. I don't think there were people who would question his credibility, but with this video clip he proved that everything he says is true.
Also during the night, Pod2G stated that his untethered jailbreak solution will work with all iDevices since it works with iPad 3 and iPhone 4. It is not known when exactly he will release the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1, but at least we know that it works.
