Proview rejects the offer of 16 million dollars made by Apple for the acquisition of the iPad trademark

Yesterday I told you that Apple would have made an offer of 16 million dollars for the purchase of the iPad trademark in China, but it seems that that offer was refused by the company Proview. 400 million dollars is the amount that Proview hopes to obtain from Apple for the trademark of the iPad tablet, but seeing the difference between the American company's offer and what the Chinese are asking, I think that Apple will never pay that much money. Proview is motivated by its creditors in an attempt to get as much money as possible from Apple, but those from Cupertino do not seem to be willing to give up a very large amount to end the legal disputes with the Chinese company.

Tim Cook went to China a few weeks ago and probably discussed with the people from Proview the problem in which both companies are caught, but I don't think he was very successful in solving anything. In the future, I think that an agreement will be reached between the two companies, but I don't think that it will involve the payment of a very large amount of money.
