Pod2G issues a warning about Absinthe and iOS 5.1.2/5.2

launching Absinthe 2.0 it also meant the publication of the vulnerabilities based on which iOS 5.1.1 is exploited, and this means that Apple will soon release a new version of iOS that will no longer be compatible with the new untethered jailbreak solution. iOS 5.1.2 or iOS 5.2 will be released in the near future by Apple, and Pod2G released a warning in this regard a few tens of minutes ago. Probably everyone expected something like this, now you have a confirmation from someone with "authority" and I recommend you to make sure that you have SHSHs saved for iOS 5.1.1 and to be careful that iTunes does not update "by mistake" to the new version of iOS when it appears.

Along with that warning, Pod2G released another one advising users not to connect their iDevices to computers they have never used before or to public charging stations. The recommendation comes because the vulnerability used for the jailbreak could be used to infect iDevices with malware. Of course, the computer must be infected first and through it the iDevice could be infected, but you must consider Pod2G's warning when you connect your terminal to other people's computers. To protect yourself from such problems, you can set a security code on your iDevice.
