Here are the first benchmarks for the new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro 2012 and MacBook Pro Retina Display

Last night Apple updated two models of Macs already available on the market launched a completely new model that has a modified design and a Retina Displayy. By and large, the new Macs have dual/quad-core Ivy Bridge processors, more RAM, better graphics cards and faster SSDs, and it shows in the first benchmarks published on the internet. From the images below you can see that the differences in performance seem to be quite large thanks to the new components, but the interesting part is that MacBook Pros with Retina Display have the same performance as normal MacBook Pros.

I would have expected to see big differences in the performance of the two MacBook Pro models, considering that we are talking about a double resolution and 4 times more pixels, but the models with the same processor have equal performance. Finally, Apple launched some MacBook Pros with Retina Display that are extremely interesting, but the prohibitive price will make many people think twice before making a purchase.
