Google is preparing to launch a tablet with a 7-inch screen and a price of $199

For several months, there have been rumors that confirm the launch of a tablet from the Nexus series that would be produced by Asus in collaboration with Google. So far, no one has had concrete details about the product, but those from Gizmodo Australia they saw an internal Google document based on which the employees are to be informed before the launch. In that document it is specified that the "Nexus 7" tablet will have a 7-inch screen with a 178º viewing angle and 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a 3 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 1.3 processor and a 12-core graphics chip. , 1 GB RAM, 1.2 megapixel front camera and an autonomy of 9 hours.

The tablet would be available in two versions: an 8 GB version that would cost $199 and a 16 GB version that would cost $249. Based on this information, the tablet from Google is announced to be very interesting, but the storage space of only 8 GB is insufficient for such a device, if there is no option to use a microSD card. With such a product, Google can easily attack the market of tablets with a 7-inch screen and can steal a good part of the market share of the iPad tablet, considering that Apple does not have a competitor in this segment.
