MacBook Pro Retina Display 13 inches and iMac should be released by the end of this year

Predictions regarding the launch plans of Apple products continue today and after the information about iPad Mini, iPad 3 and I now have the new iPod Touch/Nano information about iMac and MacBook Pro of 13 inches equipped with Retina Display. I'll start with the new MacBook Pro 13 with Retina Display because it seems to be ready for a release in the fall when it would arrive on the market at a price similar to that of the normal MacBook Pro with a 13-inch screen. The analyst providing these details believes that the product will attract the attention of those who wanted a 13-inch MacBook Air or a 13-inch MacBook Pro, but we are not talking about an explosion in Mac sales.

We think consumers who initially planned to purchase the 13" MacBook Pro and Air will turn to the 13" Retina MacBook Pro instead because it has an attractive panel, its price is similar to MacBook Pro and it has a better balance between power consumption and form factor. However, as supply is limited due to panel and assembly yield rate issues, shipment of the 13" Retina MacBook Pro won't be able to satisfy demand. And we think consumers' budgets will transfer to new iOS products after Apple launches them, which suggests that overall MacBook shipments will not grow meaningfully on the 13" Retina MacBook Pro.

As for the iMac, the launch in September is questionable due to problems related to the lamination of the screen, but by the end of the year Apple should include it in its online store. The new iMac will not have a Retina Display, but it will have the new Intel Ivy Bridge processors, a new graphics card, USB 3.0 and some other minor changes. This is the information about Macs, but we don't know how accurate it is.

The chances of the new iMac debuting in September are slim. But, judging by the current supply chain situation, it could be rolled out by the end of September. […] [Supply chain] shipments for Mac desktop models will be low due to inventory adjustment in July, and will see the most dramatic MoM rise in August as shipments for the new iMac begin.
