PowerNap also arrives on MacBook Pro Retina Display with the help of an update

During the last evening the company Apple has released a new firmware update for MacBook Air-s and offers the owners of Retina MacBook Pro the possibility to use the function powernap on their own PCs. A few days ago, Apple released a firmware update that implemented PowerNap on the MacBook Air 2011/2012, but the Retina Pros also have it. Unfortunately, only these MacBooks will have PowerNap because they are the only ones that have SSDs installed, but maybe Apple will offer the same option to the owners of MacBook Pros with SSDs, although natively they do not have such components.

The PowerNap function is only available in OS X Mountain Lion, its main functions are listed below, and you can find the update in the Software Update system.
