iPhone 5 would be available for pre-order from September 12, deliveries would start on October 5

Continuing the series of information about iPhone 5 we learn today that on September 12 the device would be available for pre-order on the Apple website, and the first units to Europe and the rest of the month would be delivered to customers in the first week of October. In the USA, the terminal would be launched on September 21, as was initially rumored, but the launch in Europe, Japan and other countries around the world would only take place on October 5, Apple applying this strategy in the case the launch of the iPad tablet.

A couple of weeks ago iMore reported that Apple would be holding their iPhone 5 event on September 12, 2012. We've since learned that iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the US Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. We've also learned that the second wave of iPhone launches, the ones in international markets, will begin in the first week of October, likely October 5.

This change is probably due to the fact that Apple does not have enough units of iPhone 5 ready for sale, and the two weeks between the US and international launch would provide plenty of time to produce enough units to meet demand. This new information from iMore I agree with those "coming" from AT&T, both websites having credible sources in the past.
