OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 fixes Mac battery life issues according to a developer

OS X Mountain Lion was released almost a month ago, and shortly after its release, many Mac owners began to complain of problems with Wi-Fi networks or battery. Apple has taken note of the users' problems and it seems that the new OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 solve at least the problems regarding battery autonomy. The information comes from an application developer for Mac OS X who confirmed, with the help of the screenshot above, that the autonomy increases as soon as this version of OS X is installed.

Until I installed 10.8.1, my MacBook was showing 4h:05m after a full charge. After installing 10.8.1 it's showing over 8h," he said. "I'm now able to use my Mac throughout the day again without having to carry my charger.

After installing the new version of the operating system, the autonomy doubled in the case of this developer, a sign that Apple made many changes in the system that manages the energy and resources consumed by Macs. Of course, we can only talk about an isolated case and this autonomy could be only theoretical for others, but it is gratifying to see that Apple solves important problems.
