A few weeks after the announcement of the development of the platform Digi Anywhere and a few weeks after the launch of the application for Android, Digi Oriunde arrives in the Romanian App Store. The application allows you to make VoIP calls with other users of this service, but you can also use the application to call the Digi Mobil network or other national networks. Calls made in the Digi Mobil network are free if you are a Digi Mobil subscriber with a certain tariff plan, but calls made in other fixed or mobile networks are paid at the normal RDS prices.
Digi Anywhere works based on a username that you create on the company's website, and if you are already a Digi Mobil subscriber, then any paid calls will probably be included in your monthly bill.
Digi.Oriunde allows free of charge* communication between Digi.Oriunde accounts on the mobile phones and also allows Digi.Mobil subscribers to call telephony destinations at the same rates that are currently provided in the Digi.Mobil telephony subscription.
If you are a Digi.Mobil customer:
- You have unlimited talk time within the network and to other fixed and mobile networks at your normal subscription charges.
- You talk at the lowest rates on the market to the fixed and mobile telephony networks in Romania.
If you use Digi.Oriunde when abroad (connected via a WiFi network for example), you will pay for your calls as if you were in Romania; therefore your service is charged at domestic rates!- If you have no Digi.Mobil coverage in a certain area, you can use Digi.Oriunde over WiFi networks: connect your phone to WiFi and make calls anywhere in the world.
- When originating calls, the receiver will be able to view your own phone number from Digi.Mobil subscription.
