Amazon is launching a new version of the Kindle Fire plus a Kindle Fire HD tablet

Today the company Amazon establishes a new turning point on the tablet market launching a new version of Kindle Fire which will cost only $159. The tablet is positioned on the market below the Galaxy Nexus 7 produced by Google, it comes with a faster processor, 2 times more RAM, but the price is the most important. Last year Amazon proved that cheap tablets sell very well even if they don't offer a great user experience, and now the company is proving exactly the same again by lowering the purchase price of a better tablet by $40.

The second tablet presented by Amazon this evening is called Kindle Fire HD, it has an 8.9" IPS screen with 254 ppi and 1920 x 1200 resolution. The tablet has a faster processor than the Tegra 3 of the rest of the similar products and those from Amazon have positioned themselves very well on the market with this product. Offering an 8.9-inch "retina" screen, Amazon's tablet competes easily with Apple's iPad 3, but it remains to be seen how much of its market share it will steal. The 7-inch version of the Kindle Fire HD will cost $199 and the 8.9-inch version with 16 GB of storage space will cost only $300, so the competition is strong at the moment.

Both of Amazon's products are extremely interesting, both will have a strong impact on the market after launch and it will be interesting to see what answer Apple will give next year.
