iOS 6 could bring a call blocking feature

For years, iDevice owners have been asking Apple for a function that would allow them to block calls or SMS from certain phone numbers, other smartphones and operating systems with integrated similar functions. Apple did not want to implement such a thing, in Cydia there is iBlacklist, the best option to undertake such things, but soon everything could change. Those from Wall Street Journal I make, in an article, a brief mention about a call blocking function that will be available starting with iOS 6, but for now we don't know much about her.

The next iPhone, which has been referred to internally by the code name N41, has been in the works for more than a year, a person familiar with the matter said. Apple is expected to tweak the smartphone's shape with a slightly larger screen and a different shell, and it will work with wireless carriers' fastest LTE networks and run new mobile software. That software, iOS 6, includes improvements to voice-activated assistant Siri, a new digital-coupon-and-passes service called Passbook, and new call-blocking features, among several others.

The mention of the WSJ could be related to the function Do Not Disturb which blocks any notifications when it is active, it also blocks calls, so it could even be about her. There is a possibility that Apple has implemented a real call blocking function and we haven't seen it yet, but we will only find out tonight when the company presents iPhone 5 si iOS 6.
