iPhone 5 it is currently a week away from the official launch, but that did not stop the people from Vodafone Great Britain to present one of the 500.000 nano SIMs it has ready. Below you have a comparison between a nano SIM, a British coin and a micro SIM, and in the image above you have the adapters for this type of card. The Nano SIM is small, so small that you have to cut out almost all the plastic from a normal SIM/micro SIM to be able to insert it into a iPhone 5, and from the moment you do this you will need a larger piece of plastic to use that SIM with iPhone 4S or other older phones.
The adapters will soon be available in all stores in the world, and the cards will be available at operators as soon as the iPhone 5 is officially launched. In Romania, operators should only offer these cards at the end of the month, or maybe even in October, everything depends on how they want to please their customers.
