Although last night iMessage, FaceTime and other iCloud services were unavailable for many users, the exact same thing is happening today. Apple says 8% of its users cannot use iCloud services, except for Mail or iChat, so if something doesn't work for you, blame Apple. That figure of 8% represents approximately 7-8 million users, so a lot of people are currently having problems. Apple says it will solve the problems quickly, but everything will probably be back to normal by morning.
