Apple is being sued for the system for changing the screen orientation of iDevices

After problems with FaceTime technology, those from Apple are being acted upon now in trial by the company MobileMedia Ideas, which claims that Apple is infringing on a patent for the technology that rotates iDevice screens from portrait to landscape mode. We all know that this function is very important, Apple tried to cite its own patent for the method used in iOS, but their method would be too close to the one described in another patent, and an American judge decided that a lawsuit take place in the near future and a jury will decide who is right.

The interesting part of the whole process lies in the fact that MobileMedia Ideas is a company owned in partnership by Nokia, Sony and other companies, so we are talking about a direct attack against Apple. Whether this company will win the case remains to be seen, Apple has good lawyers and enough money to pay any kind of violations, so regardless of the result, Apple will come out of the whole process unscathed.
