HTC and Apple conclude a global agreement by which they license each other's technologies for a period of 10 years

Apple and HTC had several dozen lawsuits open in courts around the world, but last night both companies they published press releases announcing that they have concluded a global agreement whereby they license each other's technologies for a period of 10 years. No one knows what exactly the two companies licensed, or why they chose to come to an agreement now, but we will certainly find out details in the following weeks, because the employees involved will be eager to share their experience with various journalists.

In the past, Apple had several victories over HTC, but an agreement of this kind is beneficial for both companies and is probably not the last one concluded by Apple. From my point of view, the agreement concluded by Apple today gives it the opportunity to focus better on the lawsuits against Samsung, which are really important to management.
