Microsoft Surface records poor sales despite intense promotion

  Microsoft Surface RT, Microsoft's wonder tablet, records poor sales in the first fiscal quarter of its availability on the market, with less than 1 million units to be sold worldwide. An American analyst says that sales should increase next year and at the moment the lack of a clear distribution strategy is seriously affecting sales. If Apple has hundreds of stores around the world and very strong partners, Microsoft does not have the same and for now the tablet does not register very good sales.

  On Black Friday another American analyst demonstrated that people do not enter Microsoft stores with the intention of buying the new tablet, but maybe the Pro version will improve everything. Microsoft has placed very high hopes in its new tablets, for now they do not live up to expectations and if by the time the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 are released they will not attract enough customers, then their chances of becoming relevant decrease significantly.
