A mobile phone operator in Japan loses 40.000 subscribers because it does not sell the iPhone 5

NTT Docomo is one of the important mobile phone operators in Japan, but its notoriety did not help it when it decided not to sell iPhone terminals, especially the new iPhone 5. This decision cost the company has more than 40.000 subscribers who decided to terminate their subscriptions and move their numbers to competing operators, at least that's what NTT Docomo officials say. In Japan, Softbank and KDDI sell iPhone terminals, both operators announcing that the number of subscribers increased by over 200.000 users in both cases.

iPhone 5 would have become the most popular smartphone in Japan during this end of the year and the Japanese are not really that patient with their own operators when it comes to the sale of this device. Similar things probably happen in other countries because of the iPhone 5 terminal and the refusal to sell this terminal affects the profit of the operators.
