Siri begins to understand commands better, begins to respond better to more of them

In June, those from Piper Jaffray tested Crab si Google Now to see which system understands more commands and responds better to as many of them as possible. Then 800 commands were spoken outdoors and 800 in a closed room, and Google Now came out victorious. Now the test it was redone, and the personal assistant in iOS 6 proved to be a little better than the system from Google. In the summer, Siri understood 89% of the commands and answered correctly to 69% of them, and now she correctly understood 91% of the commands and answered correctly to 77% of them.

In June he put the iOS 5 version of Apple's voice-activated personal assistant to the test — asking her 1,600 questions, 800 in the streets of Minneapolis and 800 in a quiet room. The results left much to be desired. In the best of circumstances (ie no street noise), Siri correctly interpreted 89% of the questions and correctly answered 68%. On Thursday, Munster reported the results of a quiet-room (no street noise) re-test of the "improved" iOS 6 version. This time Siri understood 91% of the questions and correctly answered 77%.

Each of the assistants did well, but the most improvements were seen in Siri and here we can say that Eddy Cue does his job well and in the future we can expect the assistant to approach perfection. Unfortunately, the Romanian language remains unknown to Siri and unfortunately we cannot search for locations in our country, but maybe partnership with Forsquare will solve this problem.
