Bill Gates' wife talks about Apple products and the ban imposed on her own children

Probably many of you already knew that the Gates couple forbade their own children to use Apple products, Microsoft's being offered as a replacement for iPods or iPhones. Even so, one of Bill Gates' children would have been seen last year using an iPhone during a jogging session, and his wife would have declared claims in 2009 that he would not be upset if he had an iPhone. Despite this statement, Melinda Gates claims that she would not buy Apple products for children because she does not want to invest in a competitor, but she probably forgot about the more than 200 million dollars with which Gates saved Apple in the 90s.

Statements of this kind are normal and any majority shareholder of a large company must support its products, so we cannot expect Gates to promote the iPhone instead of a Windows Phone or the iPad tablet instead of the Surface. Melinda Gates tried to convince her children to use Microsoft products instead of Apple's, there is not much evidence to contradict her, but we all know that for now Microsoft is far from generating the popularity that Apple products have.
