OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion becomes the most used operating system for Macs

  OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion was launched by Apple half a year ago, and in December it became the most used operating system for Macs, surpassing OS X 10.7 Lion. OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion is used on 32% of Macs, OS X 10.7 Lion is used on 28% of Macs and the old OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is still used by 29% of Mac owners, although this version of OS X was released in 2009 and is no longer found in Macs sold in the last 2 and a half years.
