The iPhone 5S would be released by the middle of this year together with a low-end model

The year 2013 seems to be a new year of change for Apple, more and more sources stating that iPhone 5Sor iPhone 6, would be released in the summer of this year. Normally, Apple "reserved" that period for updating OS X and the line of Macs, but this year there could be an important change and we could witness the launch of a new iPhone, but also of a low- end. Although for now we are only talking about simple rumors, but combining all the information on this subject, we can conclude that Apple is preparing to make a new important change, probably to counter-attack Samsung more easily.

We believe Apple could launch a higher-end iPhone model by the June quarter versus its more typical September/October timing for a new iPhone launch. We also believe Apple could potentially launch a lower-end iPhone focused on more price-sensitive pre-paid markets, as we believe consumers in markets such as China, Latin America and Eastern Europe would have very strong demand for a more affordably priced 3G iPhone .

The possible launch of a low-end version of the iPhone does not seem credible, especially since Apple already offers old models at low prices. This low-end version mentioned by analysts could only be an iPhone 4 still on sale, and not a iPhone 5/iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 with a smaller screen and significantly reduced price.
