35% of American drivers use smartphones while driving a car

Un study conducted recently in the USA reveals the fact that 35% of American drivers use their smartphones while behind the wheel and driving on public roads. The number is high and it is not surprising, especially since smartphones offer functionalities that generate addiction, even when we are behind the wheel. Among the people who participated in the study, the majority use mobile terminals to make calls, they are followed by those who use software for navigation, and the last two places are ranked by those who send text messages and use the Internet or social network applications.

More than 4000 people answered in this study and although we are talking about Americans, some results are valid without discussion including in Europe. In traffic, there are extremely many people who use their smartphones to talk while driving, this is a source of frustration, but also of accidents, but no one will stop. I'm curious if you use a smartphone while driving.
