Apple could use an interesting method that will protect iDevices against contact with water

Apple engineers are constantly developing new technologies, and an application for a patent submitted by Apple shows us part of the possible future of the American company's terminals. Apple is trying to register a patent for a method of protecting the connecting ports of iDevices, the company intending to "plug" the ports with a protective material. We are not talking about some magical solution that Apple could use to protect devices against contact with water, but about a simple cover that we would find in the port slot.

Of course, the solution from Apple is far from perfect, or from being the one desired by users, but at least we see an attempt to solve an important problem of many types of mobile terminals.
