Apple patents the text enlargement system by pressing on the screen of iDevices

In iOS, Apple has implemented a digital magnifying glass, i.e. a system that enlarges portions of a text or other multimedia content, when we hold our finger down on a certain portion of the screen. The system is also used to move the writing line of the text, and now Apple has patented the entire technology behind it. US Patent and Trademark Office granted recently a patent to the Apple company, and all those who use any technology described in it can be sued.

iOS is not the only operating system for mobile terminals that uses this interface, but it is not known what kind of implementation was done in the case of other mobile terminals. It is not excluded that Apple will use the patent in the future to sue manufacturers of Android terminals, but it seems unlikely.
