Ashton Kutcher was hospitalized after following Steve Jobs' diet that was supposed to help him cure cancer

At the weekend I introduced you the first reviews of the movie jOBS, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, we presented to you an interview given by Ashton Kutcher at the premiere gala, and now I'll tell you how difficult Jobs' role was. For the role of the former CEO of the company, Kutcher chose to follow the diet that Steve Jobs followed when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and for only two days he ate only fruits, seeds and nuts. The result of this diet was a painful one for the American actor, he saying for USA Today that after an emergency visit to the hospital he found out that his pancreas was seriously affected by everything he ate in those days.

First of all, the fruitarian diet can lead to such severe issues. I went to the hospital like two days before we started shooting the movie. I was like doubled over in pain. My pancreas levels were completely out of whack. It was really terrifying... considering everything.

In practice, the diet that should have saved Jobs from cancer, probably did much more harm than the former CEO of Apple thought, and Ashton Kutcher felt everything on his skin.

  1. What a lie and stupidity. I know people who followed the diet and had no problems. However they try to make the film successful, I don't think it will be.

  3. Indeed, it would be good to be much more careful, and responsible, when we make statements, especially in the public space. It is not about accusing or defending a certain diet, even "Jobs's".
Unfortunately, I tend to agree with you! (@So)
