Apple launches a new iPad tablet with 128 GB of storage space

 

  On Sunday we told you that in iOS 6.1 beta 5 it was discovered that Apple is making an iDevice that has 128 GB of storage space. Yesterday in a second article I told you that Apple already has the sales codes for an iPad 4 tablet ready which would have 128 GB of storage space, and today through a press release the company announced the launch of the product. iPad 4 128GB will be available in Wi-Fi Only and 3G/4G versions starting Tuesday, February 5, in Apple stores and soon in partner stores, the price of the Wi-Fi Only version being $799, the price of the 3G/4G version being $929 .

  In the press release published today, Apple mentions that it has sold over 120 million iPad tablets worldwide, and that over 300.000 applications are available for iPads in the App Store. The launch of this product brings iPad tablets closer to a $1000 selling price, and it all probably has something to do with Microsoft's Microsoft Surface Pro. The Microsoft tablet was recently launched on the market, it offers 128 GB of storage space, of which 83 GB are usable, but its price is higher than that of the new iPad tablet.
