The Retina Display for the iPad Mini 2 is in the process of development at Apple's partners, Apple covers the demand for the iPad Mini

The past days I told you that the implementation of a Retina Display in the iPad Mini 2 tablet could generate an increase of up to 30% in production costs, but that will not stop Apple from trying to bring this product to market. The Retina Display of the new tablet is currently in the development process at the company's partners, those from AU Optronics preparing to produce this component on an industrial scale. Apple's partner had big problems in producing enough screens for the company, now it seems to have solved its problems and is working on the development of Retina Displays for the new tablet. iPad Mini 2 would be launched in October of this year, together with iPad 5.

AUO currently provides AH-VA wide-angle panels for the iPad mini while LG Display, Apple's other main panel maker for the device, provides IPS wide-angle panels.

Meanwhile, AUO is reportedly also working on panels for Apple's next-generation iPad mini.

Staying on roughly the same topic, Apple seems to have managed to catch up with the demand for the tablet iPad Mini, most of the company's online stores listing the product as available in stock, with immediate delivery. Until today, the product was delivered 1-3 working days after placing the order, but now the tablets are delivered in 24 hours directly from Apple's stock and it is unlikely that until the launch of iPad Mini 2 there will be problems with deliveries.
