Today the people from HTC published a video clip in which they describe the manufacturing process of the terminal HTC One, and an interesting detail appears there and from my point of view I think it is worth mentioning. iPhone 5 it has the edges of the side strips specially polished to have a premium, diamond look, and HTC implemented the same thing in the HTC One. They use a special manufacturing process to make their edges the same way and I'm glad they finally learned that plastic can't be used to develop premium smartphones.
Whether HTC violated any Apple patent by borrowing this design element remains to be seen, but I don't think Apple will bother to check.
