iPhone 5S, Apple and induction charging

This week it appeared a rumor that made us understand that Apple would implement an induction charging system in iPhone 5S. The rumor contradicted Phil Schiller's claims last year that current inductive charging technology is inefficient, requiring devices to be connected to a charging pad to transfer power. Basically, either you connect a mobile terminal to the computer/plug it into a cable, or you put it on a charging port, you don't make the charging process any easier.

Even if Apple rejects the idea of using current induction charging systems, the American company has been working for several years on its own system that would allow Apple products to be charged without using a charging pad. Basically, Apple imagines that it can develop so-called devices that would generate a charging area near it, any device brought to that area being able to charge automatically. The charging area would have a possible diameter of several meters, so it would not be necessary to place the electronic device in its immediate vicinity.

For now, Apple technology is in the development process and we don't know if there is even a prototype iPhone or iPad tablet that can be charged with it, but there are more than likely some Apple engineers who are trying to perfect the system. Practically, the only way Apple could implement induction charging technology would involve generating a charging field in users' homes, the idea of using charging pads being rejected from the start.

I know that many of you would like such technology in iDevices, so there is no point in asking you how interested you would be in it.
