The iPhone 5S will have a 2-megapixel front camera with dual-shot support for recording photos or videos.

iPhone 5S, the company's future high-end terminal Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, would come equipped with a 2 megapixel front camera, superior to the 1.3 megapixel implemented in the current iPhone 5. The new room would be able to record movies in the format Full HD, but the important news comes on the software side. It seems that Apple intends to borrow something from Samsung Galaxy S4 and function dual-shot was taken into consideration. Those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), intends to offer us the possibility to simultaneously record pictures using the main and front cameras, the same being available for video clips.

If you look at the image above, you will see how the pictures and videos will look, the images recorded by the front camera being placed over those recorded with the main camera. At the moment the function dual-shot from iOS 7 it is being tested by Apple engineers and it is not known if it will be included in the initial version of the operating system because it is not ready for release yet. If iOS 7 won't bring it to us, then there is a good chance that iOS 7.1 to have it included, the function being available exclusively for iPhone 5S.

Combining this function with the major changes of the iOS 7 interface, I think we will have some extremely pleasant surprises this year.
