Last month an auction has been launched to buy a coffee date with Tim Cook, the CEO Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the money to be donated to a US NGO. Although the auction started at fairly low prices, one day before the end of the auction the amount to be won reached at $605.000 and it seems unlikely that any new entity will offer more. The person who wins the auction has the opportunity to go with a companion to meet Tim Cook at the Apple campus in Cupertino and discuss almost anything while enjoying a cup of coffee.
