A meeting with Tim Cook at Apple's headquarters raises $610.000 for charity

During the past weeks I told you that Tim Cook agreed to donate part of his time to charity, he agreeing for a website to bid on a coffee meeting with him on campus Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), from Cupertino. The auction started at the end of April and ended yesterday, the final amount for which the meeting was awarded being $610.000. For this amount, two people will have the opportunity to talk with Tim Cook within the Apple headquarters, the money being donated to The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.

For now, the identity of the lucky winner is confidential, but considering the fact that we are talking about such an important man as Tim Cook, it is unlikely that in the following days we will find out who will meet with the current CEO of Apple.
