Go Europe offers Orange customers the opportunity to make roaming calls at the prices of calls made in the network

Today the mobile phone operator Orange Romania announced the launch of the option Go Europe which offers us the possibility to make roaming calls at the prices of calls in the network. Go Europe it can be activated at the price of 1 euro per day and can only be used in the countries that are part of the European Union, the Orange group launching the option simultaneously in 7 EU countries. Practically Orange takes the first step towards normalcy with this option, but in a few years all operators will offer the same thing without special options.

With the new Go Europe option, Orange roaming customers have the same tariffs as in the network

Bucharest, June 3, 2013. As of today, Orange subscribers have a new option, Go Europe, which offers them network rates for calls made even when traveling within the European Union.

The option is available at the price of 1 euro/day (VAT included) and will be launched under the same name in 7 European countries where the Orange Group is present, to offer Orange customers easier access to roaming services and the promise of travel without surprises on the phone bill. With the payment of a small fee per day, they benefit from the same tariff conditions as in the network when calling from roaming.

The Go Europe option can be activated by any Orange subscriber before or during the trip by calling Customer Service, the Orange online account or Self-Care, as well as at the Orange shop before departure. The option is charged only when roaming consumption is recorded, and the roaming charges for that day will be made according to the option: 0,15 euro/minute for calls made, 0,08 euro/minute for received calls, 0,062 euro/SMS and 0,28 euros/MB.

To benefit from even lower rates for internet sessions, customers can activate one of the Travel Data options with internet traffic included. Details on Travel Data options are available on http://www.orange.ro/roaming/gprs-roaming-ro.html .

Once activated, the Go Europe option remains active without additional costs, so that on the next trip to the countries of the European Union, customers can benefit from the same reduced rates, for a fee of 1 euro/day.

"Through the Go Europe option, Orange addresses its European customers with a unified concept, to help them communicate in very advantageous conditions when traveling in Europe. The Go Europe option is ideal for users who are at the beginning of using roaming services, as it offers them both the certainty of low costs and comfort in managing them." said Dorin Odiaţiu, Public Affairs, Partnerships and Wholesale Director.
