Apple employees are preparing for the launch of iRadio

iRadio is the audio streaming service that Apple is preparing to officially launch, and the company's employees seem to be preparing for the presentation of the service during the opening conference of WWDC 2013. Those from Bloomberg claim that team hell, which deals with the advertising platform of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, it was announced that it must rethink its method of selling advertisements in order to support the service iRadio which should be officially presented on June 10.

Engineers and sales staff in Apple iAd business have been charged with supporting the new digital-radio service, which the company plans to debut as early as June 10 at its annual developers conference, said the people, who asked not to be named because of the moves aren't public. The music service won't be publicly available until later this year, when Apple's iOS 7 mobile-operating system is released, one person said.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), negotiates with the big companies that sell advertising in the US to convince big brands to buy advertising within the service iRadio. Apple launched the iAd platform 3 years ago, and with its help, advertising comes inside the App Store applications, and through iRadio it will do exactly the same thing. The sale of advertising inside iRadio will allow Apple to keep the service free for users, even though Pandora, Spotify or even Google sell subscriptions.
