Starting from iOS 7 iDevice users will be able to make calls VoIP voice over FaceTime, this option being unavailable in the past. Apple is trying to offer us a functionality that many applications in the App Store offer to users, but now everything will be available natively directly from iOS. The system will probably work exactly as in the case of FaceTime, but we should be able to choose if we want to make voice or video calls.
