The performance of Mac Pro 2013 is presented in a first benchmark

Mac Pro 2013 was presented in the framework WWDC 2013 by company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, but the product is not yet ready for launch, it will take place somewhere towards the end of this year, according to those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. Until then we see a prime benchmark in which the performances Mac Pro 2013 are compared with those of the models released in previous years and we are talking about a 10% increase in performance compared to the model released last year. The model present in the benchmarks could be a version with average hardware, but comparing it to the top one now available in Apple stores, it is more performant.

The model used for the benchmark has a motherboard that was discovered in OS X Mavericks and it was established that it belongs to the Mac Pro, it has only one processor Intel Xeon E5 2697 v2 clocked at 2.7 GHz and 64 GB RAM, so we are not talking about the most powerful hardware that Apple can implement. A 2013 Mac Pro with a pair of cores like the one above, but clocked at a higher frequency, could have up to 50% better performance, but it remains to be seen if Apple will also offer such a model to its customers, considering that its price will not be negligible at all.
