The iPhone 5S would be compatible with the LTE Advanced standard

iPhone 5 is the first and, for now, the only one iPhone compatible with networks LTE 4G from all over the world, and his successor, iPhone 5S, will follow in his footsteps, however it would be compatible and with the standard LTE Advanced. The Korean operator SK Telekom contacted the Apple company requesting that the LTE Advanced standard be implemented in iPhone 5S, and at the moment the two companies are in negotiations for its introduction. A publication from South Korea claims that Apple is interested in the idea as well as modems Qualcomm could be used to implement this standard, but to be honest I think it's too late to implement such functionality.

SK Telecom and Apple are expected to unveil an LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) phone in the coming months. SK Telecom is approaching Apple to put our LTE-A technology on the upcoming iPhone 5S. We are in the middle of negotiations. The SK Group affiliate said it plans to have as many as seven LTE-A devices available by the end of the year. LTE-A enables customers to use the next iPhone to download data at a speed of 150Mbps, twice as fast as its predecessor.

Theoretically, the standard LTE Advancedor LTE-A, could offer iPhone owners internet browsing speeds of up to 150 Mbps, double that of most normal 4G LTE networks. The LTE-A standard allows smartphones to transfer data through several channels simultaneously, South Korea being the only country where this standard is used. The fact that only South Korea has LTE-A makes it hard to believe that Apple could implement it in the iPhone 5S, but anything is possible when we're talking about Americans.
