Orange and Vodafone announce new tariffs for the use of a mobile phone in roaming

Lower roaming rates and a new offer Holiday permit from Orange

Bucharest, July 1, 2013. Starting July 1, Orange Romania customers who travel or are on vacation abroad will pay less for voice calls, internet and SMS sent. Thus, in accordance with the provisions of the European Union, the standard rates, without VAT, will be: 0.24 euro/minute for calls made to countries in the European Union, 0.07 for received calls, 0,08 euro for text messages and 0.45 euro/MB for traffic of internet, prices without VAT.

Also from July 1, Croatia, recently entered the European Union, will fall into zone 1, so the mentioned tariffs will also apply to those traveling to Croatia.

In addition, when abroad, Orange subscribers can activate their Holiday Permit option from Orange, which now offers them 25 minutes for roaming calls and 25 SMS. The option can be activated in the European Union, Switzerland and Moldova for 5,5 euros or for 11 euros when traveling in China, Israel, Serbia, USA or Turkey, prices with VAT included.

Vodafone RED customers can talk unlimitedly and in roaming, with the special option "Roaming per day"

Bucharest, Romania – July 1, 2013 – Starting today, Vodafone RED customers, new and existing, can talk unlimitedly while roaming. Through the "Roaming per day" option, Vodafone RED customers - both individuals and company customers - have access, when traveling in European Union countries and Turkey, to the benefits included in the subscription: unlimited calls and text messages and generous data traffic , up to 4 GB. The cost of the "Roaming per day" option for users of RED subscriptions is 3 Euro (VAT included), and incoming calls will not be charged. Moreover, for Vodafone Business Red Plus subscribers, the cost of the "Roaming per day" option is 0 Euro.

Vodafone Romania customers who opted for another type of subscription, as well as users of the Vodafone Card, can also activate the "Roaming per day" option. By paying a daily fee of 3,99 Euro/day (VAT included), Vodafone customers, both individuals and companies, can use the mobile internet, national minutes and SMS included in their tariff plan while roaming. The first 30 minutes/day of calls received in roaming will not be charged, and after they are used up, the rate will be 0,10 Euro per minute.

The "Roaming per day" option is available to Vodafone Romania customers in 34 countries, as follows: the countries of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Hungary), but also other countries, such as: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Reunion Islands, Gibraltar, Turkey, Albania or Switzerland.

"Roaming per day" is also valid for more exotic destinations, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Egypt, Australia, Ghana, Qatar, Japan, South Africa, India and New Zealand, for a daily fee of 6 Euros ( VAT included)/day (for Vodafone RED customers), respectively 8 Euro (VAT included)/day (for subscribers of other types of subscriptions than Vodafone RED and for Vodafone Card users).

If the customer has activated the "Roaming per Day" option and does not travel to one of the countries where this option is valid, he will be charged according to the standard Vodafone World roaming rates.
