Long series of changes thought by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for iOS 7 will affect including the official icon of iCloud, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), sending for registration a modified, much simpler version of the graphic element recognized by iDevice owners. The application for trademark registration of this icon covers exactly the same areas as the application submitted for the initial icon, so nothing will change from this point of view. Replacing the current logo with one designed based on the design principles used in iOS 7 is logical and welcome at the same time, the simplicity being appreciated by users.
The new icon was sent for registration in Jamaica and Canada, for now it is not known in which other countries Apple has requested protection, but it is quite clear that they want its protection all over the world.
