Why can't I OTA Update to iOS 7 beta 3?

After the release of each new version a 7 iOS beta I come across a question in the comments that I have answered dozens of times and I think it's time to dedicate an article to it. Many of you are wondering why I can't do OTA Update from iOS 6 to a beta version of iOS 7 and the answer is simple: because iOS 7 is not officially offered by iTunes. The only users who can perform an OTA Update for 7 iOS beta are those who already have a version of 7 iOS beta installed and want to install the latest one offered by Apple.

You will only be able to do the OTA Update from iOS 6 to iOS 7 when iOS 7 will be officially released by Apple and will be offered through iTunes. Until then, you must have iOS 7 already installed to do the OTA Update to a newer version.
