Apple is looking for people capable of implementing an anti-spam system in iCloud

iCloud

Just a week after publishing a document telling us how to quickly get rid of spam messages, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), published today a job offer on its website, announcing that it is looking for an expert engineer in anti-spam systems. The engineer would be part of the team iCloud, its role being to develop a new anti-spam system for the company, it being used both for the mailing system offered by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, as well as for the system iMessage available in iOS/OS X.

I am considering joining a small team writing the software which provides mail services to iCloud customers. We are looking for an extremely capable engineer who has a strong background in building high-performance, scalable and extensible systems. In this highly visible position, the successful candidate will both further develop existing mail systems while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement new mail anti-abuse systems.

At the moment, sending an email/imessage to spam@me.com will have the effect of marking it as spam in Apple's servers, and you will never receive messages from the email address associated with that message. In the future, Apple could implement a system in iOS that could allow us to directly mark various messages as spam.
