Apple hires a well-known fitness expert to help develop the iWatch

Jay Blahnik is a very well-known fitness expert, he advises companies such as Nike, Gatorade or General Electric, helping those from Nike to develop some products dedicated to people who exercise daily. Blahnik is extremely well-known and respected in his field of activity, he holds several conferences annually, but he gave up everything to work in Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), la iWatch. Blahnik confirmed via Twitter the employment within the American company, but of course he did not reveal the project he is going to work on.

Jay has been a Nike Elite Athlete and Nike consultant for almost 20 years. He worked closely with Nike on the launch of Nike+Running, which has become the largest digital running community in the world. He was also the original creator and program developer of the Nike Training Club App, and the Nike Training Club in-gym program, which boasts over 6 million digital users. He is also a key expert and consultant for many of Nike's new Digital Sport initiatives that launched in 2012, including Nike+ Kinect Training and Nike+ FuelBand.

Having such success with Nike products, and considering that Tim Cook is on the board of directors of Nike, his takeover within Apple was normal, especially since Apple wants to implement many functions dedicated to fitness in the iWatch. Separately from Nike, Blahnik also helped develop fitness software dedicated to the Xbox Kinect, so we could also talk about a possible implementation of a similar functionality in a future Apple iTV. Regardless of what Blahnik's role is at Apple, it's clear we're in for something great.
