Apple is retiring iOS 6 for Apple TV

Very shortly after the launch iOS 7 for iDevices, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has launched iOS 6 for Apple TV, the new version of the operating system bringing some very important news for users. Unfortunately, the update released by Apple it generated update problems for users, some having to perform restores to install it. In some cases, these restores have blocked completely Apple TV-s, preventing them from starting, others losing all downloaded content, while a third category could not download anything from the Internet even though it had an active connection.

Although Apple did not make any kind of announcement regarding these problems, the company decided to withdraw the update for Apple TV, users no longer having the possibility to update directly from the products. Although firmwares are still available for download and separate installation, users can no longer use the software update system to install the new version of the operating system. If you haven't updated to iOS 6 for Apple TV yet, you'd better not hurry, and if you have and you don't have any problems, then don't restore.
