iPhone 5S - here's why it's not advisable to buy it now in Romania

Just one day after the launch iPhone 5S in Europe, the first terminals arrived in Romania through those who had the courage to stand in line in front of the shops Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), from Europe to purchase the device. If on the "grey" market the terminal even had prices of €1500 in the 16 GB version, most asked for a minimum of €1000 for this model and things are identical now. Just like in other years, the high prices of iPhones are kept, and they are also practiced by those who import them from the USA, the difference being only €50 in terms of the sale price in Romania.

Unfortunately, the prices charged on the "grey" market were also charged by some online stores that sold the few terminals iPhone 5S brought to the country in a desperate hope to "catch" some customers willing to pay luxury prices for the device. Unfortunately, at the moment it is not "worth it" to spend at least €1000 on this device, because in the next 2 weeks the prices will be reduced, as Apple prepares the second wave of launches for the device. As soon as this happens, the prices of the terminals will decrease because the devices will be widely available and at lower prices, Switzerland being the European country with the lowest prices for the products Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),.

For Romanian traders, the problem is simple, if people do not buy the products sold by them at exaggerated prices, then they either reduce them or give up the products. They will certainly not give up on iPhones, so if you refrain from buying their terminals, they will have nothing else to do but reduce their prices to convince you to buy them.

In the case of the iPhone 5C, I don't think there will be very large price drops, the terminals being available at fairly decent prices, and the low demand for them does not motivate anyone to do anything at all.
