Vodafone Romania claims that it was certified as having the best mobile data service, on smartphone and modem, in Romania

  Today the mobile phone operator Vodafone Romania published a press release announcing that it was certified by the independent auditor p3 communications for the best mobile data service, on smartphone and modem, among all networks LTE/UMTS/GSM from Romania, in metropolitan areas. Basically, this certification tells us that in the big cities in Romania, and in the areas adjacent to them, Vodafone Romania would have the best mobile data service for all types of connections, and you can find more details in the press release below, including the certifications received by the company.

Bucharest, September 25, 2013 - Vodafone Romania was certified by the independent auditor p3 communications for the best mobile data service, on smartphone and modem, among all LTE/UMTS/GSM networks in Romania, in metropolitan areas.

Compared to the other LTE/UMTS/GSM networks, the measurements showed that Vodafone Romania offers: "best smartphone data service" si "the best mobile broadband data service".

The comparative performance measurement campaign took place between August 5 and 31, 2013, in 19 cities: Arad, Bacau, Baia Mare, Botosani, Braila, Brasov, Bucharest, Buzau, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Sibiu, Targu Mures and Timisoara. The tests were carried out stationary and in mobility.

The services that are the subject of each of the two certifications are: Internet browsing, data download, data upload and YouTube video streaming. 

The metropolitan areas of the cities include part of the neighboring localities (eg: Bragadiru, Chiajna).

This is the fourth certification offered to Vodafone Romania by p3 communications for network performance.
