iMac 2013 - here are the first performance tests

Two days ago the company Apple has launched new models of the iMac, implementing the architecture Intel Haswell and a new series of graphics cards from Nvidia si Intel. With the idea of presenting to the whole world information about the performance of Apple's new products, a French website acquired the entry-level model of iMac 2013 and tested it in two benchmarking applications. The first test was done using Cinebench 11.5, and it reveals that the graphics card Intel Iris Pro it is superior to those implemented in the entry-level models of the past years, but the processor is equal in performance to the one implemented in the iMac launched at the end of last year.

Separately from Cinebench, Geekbench was used to check performance, and it reveals the fact that apart from the graphics card and the RAM memory used by Apple, it is superior to that offered in previous years. Unfortunately, the processor does not offer any increase in performance compared to the model released last year, but this was to be expected, considering that the Haswell series was designed to improve energy consumption and not to offer extraordinary performance, this being it can be clear.
